My First Boat

This last summer I bought a 19 Centurion with a 427 Corvette motor, built to the gills..What a wild ride!!...But,it was supposed to run on no less than 110 Octane and I dumped some Outlaw booster in it because someone told me that would raise it up enough...WRONG!!!!! with 13.5 -1 compression, I needed ALL of it...I learned the hard way..We are now in the process of re-building the entire motor. Thinking of going with a gas pump friendly type motor...no sense in that other way...I have some nice pics of this boat and its graphics...but don't know how to post them...anyway, thanks guys for letting a "rookie" of 58 years old give you a shout...You all are super in here... :confused: [LIST]

Ok guys, bear with me, I found out how to post the pics, just don't want to bore you with pics, but want to share with you all what happened to me, and as a first time jet boat owner it really made me sick. Almost to the point of not wanting to continue with the project, but, I will forge ahead till this is done..hahaha. OK.....That is all the pics for now. I am sorry to post so many, probably posted more than they allow, I don't know, just wanted to let you see what I am dealing with. It messed up the cylinder wall, and it was already bored +60..so will probably require a sleeve. Will keep you advised on how this project is doing. Also have some great movies of this boat throwing up some roosters like you aint never seen!!!...Soon as I find out how to post THEM, I will get them on here. hahahaha...I hear ya ReoDog...Like I said, it was my first time out...and got so darn upset, felt like just tossing the whole thing on my local for sale boats section in the newspaper.. :) ..It is a nice looking hull, and I suppose all this comes with the game, big toys for big toys, all that stuff...will try the posting of naked gals later...hahahahaha..take care bud..
