I could never pick one.
All boats have strong points and weak points depending on what type of boating you're doing that day. On a wind blown day I want a big cat more than anything. On a smooth as glass day I would love my Sanger Hydro back for a run. When I feel like wakeboarding or tubing I want the Malibu back. Some days I think it woudl be fun to have a squirt boat to run around in.
Just one opinion

Great opinions.
I see your thoughts there, but what I'm looking for is not related to everyday lake use but more of a boat that you think is timeless, innovative, something you've always admired but would likely not own or just plain badass.

Is this a "money being no object" question? If so I'd have to say a Skater or MTI, something in the 36' to 42' range with Mercury 1075's. If not than I would take anything that is paid for and floats.:D

They first 18' Sleek Craft. If I remember right, it was called the Rebel. The 17' outboard, Newport, was pretty nice for it's time too

Well of course im a lil biased towards one company so id say a Lavey 39' EVO
But if money wasn't an issue and i was old, i would get a 50' Mystic....

Hallet 540-T .. first time a boat ever made me hear in my head that sound Tim Allen makes when he's in a cars and engines frame of mind, lol .. I'd try to spell it phonetically if I could but it defies language really. :D In red. It's a dream boat to me.
No, I don't know what that second picture is but it still makes my heart beat faster looking at it. Completely illogical but true.

Dream Boat..
07, 25' Daytona, Kevlar Hull, Poker Run Interior
Aluminum Block 540, blown with the new "top fuel" style injection CP has.
900 to 1000HP
Imco Drive
Light, quick, fast, tunnel ride...What more could you want?:D

900 to 1000HP
Imco Drive
have you learned nothing from my pains over the past few years? Go with the new XPower drive or something else other than an Imco with 1000hp.

dream boat...this week at least...
36ft MTI. Those things are awesome looking. I'd put some viper 710's in it.
I also really like the 36ft Daytona Speedster.
Someday, when real estate is great again and I wise up and stop buying other crap...I'll get one of those.

I woke up this morning and changed my mind....I decided that I want a 50' Mystic with twin turbine motors and a blond, brunette and redhead to fill the seats.

Okay, new dream boat...
WCF, 2000hp, arneson drive and a bigger set of gonads. I wonder how fast we could get the WCF to go with 2000hp.

An extra 1000HP in your 8,000lb hull:idea: I'd say 120MPH :jawdrop: :D
J/K 150MPH to 160MPH. It would be completly safe. No way the WCF is blowing over below 190MPH:D :D
