Texas is the place for deals on trucks this time of year! Ask the dealers which associations it has deals with for rebates. I buy Fords but they usually have 10 or so affiliations with groups such as the AQHA that they give $1-500 rebates on their trucks for being members of the various groups and in many cases you only have to be a member for a minimum of 30 days to get the rebates. You can save $1000's that way!

One more tip, when negotiating the price and you are happy with it, tell the Sales manager to seal the deal you need parts for the truck at cost plus 5 percent to seal the deal. They will say they cant do, never done it etc. that but remind them that will always bring the truck to them for service since you are going to be buying the parts from them. I have done it on every vehicle I have bought for the past 20 years and they have always givin it to me! If they dont, just walk out of the shop and DO NOT give them to chance to waffle on you! Just be straight up with them that that is not negotiable and they will do it every time, especially with the way they are hurting now! Make sure that it is written into the contract and then proceed to the parts department to purchase some items and KEEP the reciepts with you so you have proof that that is their deal with you. Make the sales guy, sales and parts manager sign the letter of agreement and you are good to go!
