I am in the process of going through my boat. What is the best type of carpet to put in my jet boat? It had old shag. Where is the best place to by marine carpet?
Thanks, I hope to be ready for the water soon.

Any Marine Interior shop should sell you marine carpet.

Spend the dough on the good stuff with rubber backing. 3m makes a really good glue. Can`t remember name. Its actually a # but in a white can with green graphics. Glue is yellow. We used it on the MK-V`s. Indoor outdoor from Home Depot is fine if you wanna keep redoing it in spots and don`t mind seams. Glue can be bought at carpet wholesale outlet.

Check out Overton's.
I got some a few years ago when I redid my Callenger. Good quality and price.

Funny, I just removed the shag carpet from my boat too. Unfortunately, I'm not too impressed with the colors to choose from today. Check out the following links for carpet.

Don't use Home Depot indoor/outdoor carpet. I doesn't have a thick enough rubber backing and glue will ooze through the shag itself to the top. It ends up looking like someone shit all over your carpet where it oozed through after it dries. (BELIEVE ME, THIS SUCKS!)
