I am still trying to figure out what type of hull I have. It looks similar to a sanger bubble deck but I dont think it is. Here is a pic of it just before I bought it. It has a bubble deck and if you look close at the picture the ass end is rounded from the top to the transom. It came with a berkeley "e" pump. If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks 396!

It also cam stock with the gas tank under the bow. I didnt learn about the id tag on the transom untill after reglassed the whole ass end to fill the exhaust and swim step holes. The hull is really light and it has a very shallow "V".

Kinda hard to tell from the picture but by the description it sounds like a Rogers 19". They had the bubble deck and what I always called a barrel back. I've later learned that "barrelback" isn't the correct name for em. It's rounded on the top part though like you described. Here's a picture of one that belongs to a buddy of mine. Are there any manufacturers marks in the hull? Or maybe a plate on the left side by the driver's seat?

What are the letters in the serial number? They may be located on the transom

It looks like a Rogers to me. I used to have a Sanger Super Jet wich looks alot like a Rogers, if it doesnt have a transom ring around the pump and a small cavitation plate under it then its not a Super Jet. From what I understand this setup was a special thing Sanger did with Berkly and all the Super Jets used it. Hope this helps.

Hey squirtcha, Could you get me a close up of the whole transom.
Verns, I filled in the serial numbers on the transom. After the fiberglass hardened, then people told me that I just got rid of my id tag.
Bk, I know what your talking about mine doesnt have the round ring around the pump.Around my punp it is inverted into the transom about 1/2 inch. I have a factory rideplate also.

The Hull Identification Number should begin with the ID for the manufacturer and might even tell you the date that the hull was manufactured.

By the way, be very careful not to cover up the HIN or obscure it. It can be impounded if it doesnt have a HIN.

Here's a shot of the back. Unfortunately the focus of the picture was to show the through transom headers that we just put in. It doesn't show the whole back end.

Here's another where I managed to expertly get my finger into the shot.

This is what my transom looks like. Identical to the T. I looked at some rogers and it looks similar but not the same. Squirtcha, I appreciate all of your help. It looks similar but its different. The part that rounds up from the transom rounds up higher. As soon as I get my scanner to work I will post a real good pic of it and maybe it will help.

My pump and looks identical to the red one. Even where the pump is mounted to the transom is the same but my transom is a little different. Where the rubber molding starts it rounds up about 5 inches to the inside of the hull.

A lifelong buddy of mine had a similar transom, it was a Cobra. It also had a bow tank.

Doesn't your title list the Mfg? In CA it does.

396_WAYS_TO_SPIT:
the boat was from cali and the regrestration says "hmblt"=homebuiltThat is not a good sign. It obviously isnt homemade so I would be thinking HOT. In California homemade boats and boats manufactured before HINs where mandated are issued a HIN that begins with CFZ. Does the HIN on the stern match the one on the certificate of number?

I'd be surprised if Rogers ever did a pump install like that one in the pic.
