What do I need to do before I take my boat for the first time ? I filled the bowl with 90 wt oil , put a turn or two on the packing gland nuts , checked the engine oil [I assume you tilt the trailer to level the motor first] how much grease does the thurst bearing take , I have a mini grease gun and pumped about a dozen times should it squirt back out if it is full how do I know how much to put in ? Do you guys grease the tow ball ? [can't wait to here back on this one] I will also check the tire bearings . Anything I am missing ? Thanks Randy

QB]Randy- when you launch-make sure you are getting a small drip from the packing -water is your lube for the packing-too tight and you will scar your shaft. Dave

RH, it should drip slowly right at the packing gland where the adjusting collars are ,while your engine running.
