Well the boat ran great this weekend but the place diverter quit working. I don't have much knowledge in the hydraulic area so any help is appreciated.
When I hit the switch I can hear the solenoids engage but nothing moves. Should I look at the Hydraulic Cylinder (I can manually move that up and down) or should I be pointed toward the pump motor? (the most expensive part of the system of course)
Can anyone rebuild these motors or is there anything else I should look at? I have not pulled it out yet but just trying to get some ducks in a row. Thanks :D

Try to move the diverter manually. If it moves, there is not enough fluid in the resovor. That would be my 1st guess. Other than that??????

Yeah, It was low and I filled that up on the lake, not sure if it needs to be bled or not.

I dont think it need bleeding
Is it working now?
I had the same thing and it ended up with a leaking hose

No, it's not working yet. Havent dug into it too much but I havent noticed any leaks. It was in the water so I just went the rest of the weekend without a diverter.

SpectraToad,
I have a Bennett Trim tab unit, I think it could be used for the place diverter.

Todd, check thru the last few weeks worth of threads. I think someone else had a similar problem and Rexone had a pretty helpful reply as to diagnosing the problem.

That is the pump unit right? I will keep that in mind. I haven't totally dug into this thing yet so I am just trying to get some ideas on where to start. Thanks for the info though. I will keep it in mind.
Hey Oldsquirt, I will do that. Thanks for the heads up.

Found the thread under Gear Heads. That gives me some direction. Thanks OS and Thank Rexone/Mike for the info you gave another member. I may still also be under warranty. :D :D

Spectra,
I think that was me on the other thread.
I ended up finding a leaking hose on the outside at the cylinder. Check it out
Good luck

Will do Mike, Thanks for all the info you put out here. I also remarked on another thread about my ordering some hatch hinges from you and got them the next day or so. They look and work great. Todd
