Berleley JC color?

Did all Berkeley JC's come white? It is on a '73 Tahiti. I need to refinish mine and it was black when I purchsed the boat and looks bad now. It appears that if it was repainted black, the previous owner had it off the boat when they did it. On the inside of the boat everything is white.

I had A Black Berkeley, They look good that Color, Just not Original. Here's a Trick, on the Transom Plate, sand the Black off the Letters, and you have a Shiny B-E-R-K-E-L-E-Y, Looks COOL! OH, My Boat Is Black Too, so maybe that's why a Black Berk. Looked Good on it :D

my pump was also black. no sign of another color anywhere on the thing.looked original to me. intake was white.

All berks came white. They have green underneath the white. If it was any other color it has been re-painted.

Yeah, Factory White. Over the Year's I've seen them Painted just about every color, or at Lease every color you could Paint a Boat. Powder Coating is best, Mine was Paint and I always had to do Touch-up's
