BASSETT HEADERS NEEDES.

I HAVE OVER TRANSOM BASSETT HEADERS ON MY 78 SOUTHWIND, W/470 HP 454 bbc. THEY ARE RUSTED AND THE CROME IS SLOWELY FADDING AWAY. I NEED NEW ONE. ANYONE HAVE ANY FOR SALE OR KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS A PAIR FOR SALE OR TRADE WITH SOME $$$. THANX

Send them to Jethoat coatings for around $350.00
They will even strip the old chrome and repair any rust holes that may have appeared.

how much are new ones? arent they like 450-500 bux. i was thinking of doing that, but then said to my self why not just get new ones. getting them repaired might afterall be the way to go. you know anyone that does that kind of work?

new bassetts for a BBC are 600 bucks plus tax and shipping straight from Bassett.

I think I would lean towards the JetHot coatings.
If I am not mistaken, they coat the inside also, better flow of exhaust gasses & water. Ask about different colors for the coating. Unless you have to have the chrome look. Taking the boat carb for a rebuild on Sat. Don't know how long Kelly will take. Hope to be ready for Buena Vista?
