WHO OUT THERE KNOWS OF, OR RUNS A GOOD FAST STABLE JET BOAT HULL WITH SOME KIND OF CUDDY CABIN ABOARD? DO ALL THE BIGGER BOATS SUC*K UNLESS YOU HAVE MASSIVE POWER(I SHOULD BE RUNNING ABOUT 600-700 HP WHEN I'M DONE)I KNOW TO HAVE ANY KIND OF ROOM BELOW I'LL HAVE TO STICK TO A "V" HULL, NO TUNNELS. ANY BRANDS, PICS, OR GENERAL COMMENTS? MUCH APPRECIATED...BILL.

If you are interested I know of a Hull. Im not sure of the Manf. But it is a 23-24ft Jet with a cuddy. It had a FORD in it but that is in pieces. It is on a super nice trailer. If your interested I could get you some more info. I think it may be a American Offshore or something like that. The pump is a Berkley.

Here are a couple of pics of my 1977 23' Mirage. It has a cuddy, as you can see in the pic. It is powered by a Ford 460 and a Panther Jet. It's no speed demon, but it gets us around. You can see more pics here: http://www.***boat.com/image_center/showgallery.php?ppuser=617&cat=500

Sleekcraft made a lot of 23 and 26 foot cuddy cabin boats in the 70s and 80s with jets. SKV made a few, as did Nordic and Campbell with jets. They are around, especially in So. Cal. :D

Looks like I am on the wrong side of the country. I have a 23 foot Sleekcraft that I would be interested in letting go. If interested email me.

I do not have any pictures of it. Im not even sure what he wants for it. The motor is in a bunch of piles. eek! The trailer it is on is pretty nice if I remember correctly. I know the guy. I will give him a call and see what the deal is. Last time I talked to him he was just getting out of prison.

HD, I have a 79 Ambassador that had a 350 & Mercruiser in it when I got it and i've installed a Berk. and just finished building a nice 454 for it. 30 over, large oval port heads, Erson JB100 cam, roller rockers, single carb tunnel (just for looks)Holley 3310(780 CFM). I realized, of course, that this boat is too heavy to expect it to be fast, but just out of curiosity since you've had one, what sort of speed would you guess I could expect?
Scuba, Sky or Muff - No dive too tuff.

Scuba, Sky or Muff - No dive too tuff. The 26' I had came with a 460 and Jacuzzi pump...it struggled at 50 mph. However with a Berk and a full A cut Impepper I would guess top end numbers would be a higher.

Ive got the SKV, Its a 21 and you can get underneath, but not like the 24-or 26. SKV has in the 80's made a cuddy that you can actually sit down under. Im more old school. I like the classic lines of my 72 shortdeck. the lond deck version has more underneath length as well. Ive got a 454 and a Jacuzzi YJ and it runs 45, mind you its a heavy hull. But its got the classic lines of a great 70's daycruiser!

The Sleekcraft boats are heavy, but they perform nicely, and respond favorably to increased horse power. Stock you would be luck to top fifty, but 700hp will get you to 70's with set-up. Have fun
