Approximately how loud is your thru-transom setup with the 4" tips and spiral baffles
compared to over the transom? That is the same set-up I will be running when I get my boat in the water and I'm concerned about the noise- I'm on the St. Mary's river in Georgia and noise is a big issue-

I am in the st. marys river all the time with
OT pipes very loud. The river pigs do not hassle me. The DNR boys did in the down town
water front one time. Not a big deal up river.

Hey David- where do you live and put in at?
What I mean about the noise issue is I know several people who have houses like at Kings Ferry and they get all worked up when loud
rigs come down the river- I love the sound
myself- but I just don't want to run into
a bunch of trouble first time out- you say they haven't bothered you upriver? I have been rebuilding an 18' Biesmeyer for the last three years and I'm getting close to putting her in the water.

sounds awsome for a muffled exhaust, kinda of a deep rumble. I run at a state resivoire where noise is a issue, no problem so far.
