Can anyone recommend where to get the GM round to 5pin plug?? I traded the old truck in and left mine in the console. Everywhere ive tried including the dealer does not have it. Any help??

I saw them at Kragen, but I'm sure that Napa or any "trailer" parts store should carry them.

Boaters world or West Marine carries them also. I believe I picked mine up for $12.

The Auto Zone here in Boulder City as them
I can send you one if you want, or just get it next time you come up.

Hopkins Manufacturing has what your looking for. Maybe give them a call and find out where their products are sold.

I got mine at walmart too. *Edit - I just checked and mine is round to 4 pin. Not sure if they have round to 5 pin or not, but they did have several different choices so it wouldn't hurt to check.

As long as they for sure have them I will get one up there. Just dont want to get boned when I get there and not be able to find one. I will check a few of the recommendations here and if not I will have you grab one for me. Thanks for the help!

Why not change the trailer to match the truck? Thats what I did and eliminated the adaptor. Mutch cleaner and easier hook up.

Mainly because we sometimes use a different tow vehicle and do not want it specific to the GM plug.

Any U-Haul caries a wide variety of connectors.

If you have a PepBoys that is closer than U-Haul, stop there first. I just came back from mine and they carry the "Hoppy" brand (linked to above) and had a bunch of the 7-round to 5-flat adapters in stock.

I just picked up one that is a combo, flat four and flat 5 in the same plug. I got it at Pep Boys for around $14. Works cool if you have a couple different trailers

I might look at that option. Be nice to have it work for both types......thanks for the info.
