I need to know what cable is used to replace the reverse bucket. Mine snapped off at the sheathing, but it still works. Is it a 43BC 0r 33c or what? Also, do I measure the sheathing or the fully expanded position? The one thats on there is now is still operatoinal, but not the way it was intended. The pressure from the jet at idle is enough to take up the slack and "reset" the cable, but if the engine is off, it just slides the cable. Thanks for the input guys.

Dream - mine is a 43BC . The 43BC has 1/4 x 28 thread ends at both ends. Measure from mounting point to mounting point or end of case to end of case. If you can look on the cable, there's a part number and a length stamped on it. Just my .02
check out cables (http://www.glen-l.com/inboard/8control.html)
or EddieMarine (http://www.eddiemarine.com/cart/catalog.asp?CategoryID=12&CategoryName=Cables)

Thanks Don, but does that include the threaded part that goes through the tiller on the jet? Is there a length setting for that or is that already figured in?

Already figured in - end of case to end of case - everything else is figured in. They measure from mounting point to mounting point, the throw stays the same on all lentgh cables. You just need your mounting point to mounting point lentgh and you will be good to go. Check email.
