What's an average weight for a jet boat? 2000#? 4000#?

I believe mine is 2700 lbs, or 2790 lbs. Heavy Man! That is a 1998 21ft Ultra LX Open Bow, not trailer, gear or gas.

I have a 20’ Advantage pickle fork tunnel with a BB Chevy. I weighed the boat/trailer combo which was 3,220. If the trailer manufacture is correct that the trailer weighs 1,100 lbs. then the boat weight would be 2,120 lbs. That's with a full load of 40 gallons of fuel.

19' Placecraft
Boat + Trailer = 2940 lbs
Don't know trailer weight but it's an Ellis Tandem w/brakes.

Jer,
Do you know what a bare PC weighs?
Thanks,
Brian

My brothers was light enough that three of us easily lifted it off the trailor to hang from the rafters while the trailor was being cleaned up. No motor or seat but the jet was still in it.

I think the PC's had several different layups but the light one or one of the lightest ones I believe is 450lbs.

Not sure Brian, but I just found my original invoice on the trailer and it says 900 lbs. If that's true weight for complete trailer and wheels, the hull fully dressed is 2040 lbs. So if you knew the pump and engine weight...then add my 100 lb stereo...full tanks of gas...etc.
When I bought mine, I ask Ron if he could lay it heavy for lake running. He said, nope. They only do one layup schedule whether you bought the Dragstar or Jetstar. Only differnce being the center hump in the deck for capsule, otherwise hulls identical. But that was in '91.
Your model slightly different than mine? Once I get my scanner working I'll post some pics of the bare hull as they built it there in S. El Monte. Now that was a happy day!
Sorry can't help more.

My 75 Sleekcraft executive weighs about 4300lbs less trailer. The Roadrunner 25 foot tandem is somewhere in the 1500-1800lb range. Total weight with fuel and gear is 6000lb give or take a few pounds. It's a heavy beast!!!

I think they did have different layups. I will ask Tom Peterson. He used to run placecraft.

Wow, no one caught the joke evidently...
I was just kidding about 3900# More like 2900# or so considering the stereo and closed bow.
