Running Carter 4 barrel on my 454. Think it's time for a tuneup/rebuild of carb. One of the needles seems to get stuck once in a while, causing to flood. Any recs for local shops, Orange County area, for a reasonably priced, well done carb rebuild/tuneup. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

my 2 cents...1st off i would get rid of the Carter...most 454's came with a Holley..u might want to try a 750 cfm dbl pumper..they work real good and alot less headaches also...if u want to keep the Carter...u can re-build it urself..not hard at all..just follow the instructions and make sure carb is clean before u re-build it..u can find re-build kits at most any Auto parts store in ur area

Yeah, dump the carter!! Buy a holley, and sell me the carter real cheap cause they aren't any good. In fact, just send me the carter free, Since I'm taking the garbage out for you...Moneypitt
