Where can I buy a super charger for my 460? I can not find any place that has a listing for a ford. Does anyone have any suggestions and what kind of money we are looking at?

Contact Jim at www.dragparts.com (http://www.dragparts.com) (Good Vibes Racing). He sells BDS kits and is very helpful. As for cost...the kit is only the beginning. By the time you get the whole mess together(carbs, plumbing, linkage and all the odds and ends), you're looking at more than $5K.

Check out engine systems they should have every thing you will need to put a blower on your ford you can also check at flatlander racing they have the blue thunder blower intake the cheapest I have found so far. What motor combo are going to put together.

I have a Glasstron Carlson which I scattered the engine a month ago. So I have aquired a 1969 429 which at this time can go either way. Either high compression with dual carbs or supercharged. The 460 that scattered was all original in the boat and I dont think it was ever touched. With the stock holley it was a little slow.

Littlefeild Blowers. BDS is a good part, but you buy them in Stages(S1, S2, S3 ect ect)...Littlefeild sells only a Stage 4 Kit and is only 231.00 more than the Best stage 3 BDS Makes. I've got a Littlefeild on my Ford BB 532--have ZERO complaints about it since I've owned both--the BDS is okay but I got nearly 4 # more boost at 1:1 from the littlefeild than I got from the BDS

I bought mine from Kuhls, bds is ok but if you want tuning info they charge you for time to talk to their tech guy, kuhls will talk for free. I use the blue thunder intake dont waste your time with the welded up dual 4 bbl intakes the blue thunder has a tented floor and is a great piece. You may need to space your top pulley out in order to pick up the bottom pulley. I make a plate that bolts to where the water pump used to be that the idler pulley runs in with a slot to take up the adjustment. Just my two cents, I have a blower on my car and one on my boat and both are from kuhls and have had no problems what so ever both are three percent over and make 9 psi of boost. :D

One bad scorpion and blown 472 what crank are you guys running and do they have the standard big block ford snout? I have heard that the ford cranks like to break the snout off when they are used with a blower have either of you herd of this? Also does the blue thunder manifold clear the distributor? I’M just trying to find out ass much as I can before I put one on mine thanks.

breaking crank snouts will happen at big levels of boost. The blue thunder intake will clear a stock motor craft dist with a small cap, I have mine wired to an msd al. There is enough room to take the cap off. I run a stock ford crank, cross drilled and balanced and turning 5100 with an E pump. :D
