Yes, a Sleekcraft Tunnel (20'). I always thought they were Cool. compared to a Daytona or CP, They were not as Fast. A few Set-up for Drag Racing did O.K. 10 Grand? thats High!

10k! The dude is cracked out! $6,000 at the very most. Clean boat though.

$10000 is way too much. It is clean but much. You are going to have to tell the guy that you don't get back what you put into a boat.

Definitely a 78 Sleekcraft Tunnel. I have a 79 and love it! Don't think it's worth 10k though. Unless he can prove a high dollar engine and pump.
Looks Great!!!

O.K. everyone ... I am notintersted in this boat, I was just amazed to see it here of all places in Macon... Long way from Ca. I think it is way too much also. Looks good though, but if it is not very fast forget it. He is claiming 85+ I call bullshit on that , it does however have a set back pump , ride plate and manual place diverter , BBC 454 built by some engine GURU in Tenn. where he bought the boat.
I have a great boat already just no motor ....
By the HIL # what year is it?

I met a guy at a lake here in Phoenix AZ over Memorial weekend that had the same hull. I think he said Sleek sold the molds to a guy in Havasu and he's building the boats again under the name Conquest (or something similar)? Same tunnelhull and deck and all. Could be wrong on the name though. Anyway, he's running a sano blown BBC 454 and only getting 85 mph with his so I kinda question this guy's claimed speed. It's possible but it doesn't seem very likely.
I really liked the hull. Very unique (especially the shape of the deck). The guy said it was a heavy layup but never said how much the bare hull weighed.

Squirtcha?:
The guy said it was a heavy layup but never said how much the bare hull weighed. I would guess it is well over 500 lbs... I know that when i had the motor and pump out of mine, i grabbed the swim deck, and tried to pick the back of the boat up - HAH, it didnt even budge. I figure, if it weighed 500 lbs, i should at least get it to start to lift up!
Mine is a 19' sleekcraft, but its not the tunnel hull. Same exact deck layout, it is just missing the "cutouts" in the hull. If i had to guess, i would say my boat would need about 675-700hp to hit 85... Doubt the 454 is doing that without a blower or some big CI's.

Bryan,it's for sure a 78 look at the serial#, the last #78 the letter K means it was made in November 1978!!!

It was deffinately kept in a garage or that yellow trailer wouldn`t look so yellow. 6G thats a rap. Heavy boats. But they did haul ass. I know a guy with one. 454 tunnel with 600`s hydraulic diverter, 80mph. No bullshit.

I believe they were about 900 and some pounds according to the brouchre. Pretty heavy hull but a damn durable one.

squirtcha, conquests are made by group 1 marine in havasu and I don't think they are laying these boats up. I was just out on the water with the owner of group 1 on thursday. I was in the shop and didn't see these molds... so maybe someone else is laying them up out there.
