I,ve been using 50/50 vinager&water.Works great fo me!

Same here. I use 50 50 water and vinegar. I wipe the boat and trailer down right after pulling it out of the water and I don't have a problem with water spots.

Like the rest of the boys said water and vinegar works the best. Windex has ammonia in it and may strip your wax. Put the water/vinegar sol. in a Ducky bottle,just so you can look cool, like the guys that can spend $14 a bottle for the stuff :p

I use tub and tile cleaner in the spray bottle. It has phosphoric acid and works great on fiberglass and stainless steel exhaust tips. It won't hurt gelcoat, but may not work on painted surfaces. I just got back from Parker and my boat had that crusted on hardwater spots. That water seems to dull everything.

Go the vinegar route and keep it waxed.

sundance products makes a killer water spot remover with wax. i get mine locally, but you can order it off riverracerx.com.
