Its a 21'Eagle Sport - aluminum Hull, A/T 309 with a AA impellor, hyd Trim - it runs 73 MPH (GPS)
With a little tweeking and tuning we should get it
to run a little faster

Sweet ride!
Does it ride/drive much different than fiberglass?

Mohave, it rides a little higher in the water - only need about 6-8 inches when your on step - does pretty good in rough water if you have it trimmed correct. it turns on a dime.
Thanks - Jeff

Very nice looking ride 21footeagle. I'm in SacTown, let me know if you want to head up to Marysville and run the Yuba. The water should be high enough for a couple more months thanx to that late season snow/rain we had. Of course I wouldn't want to scratch a boat as good looking as yours but you have an aluminum boat for a reason-Aluminum Squirt

Love those Eagle tunnels. If I had $17,000 to spend on a new hull, I'd seriously consider buying one and bolting in my BBF. Very sharp ride with a nice paint job too.

thanks guys, I have no idea what the hull weighs. maybe 600-700 pounds ?? aluminum Squirt, i would love to run the Yuba and Feather - just one big problem. the new motor went through 3 quarts oil in about 30 minutes. shi.. Im bummed. i got to take it out 4 times in the 2 weeks - OH Well - thats what a warranty is for. I hope to have it together for the Klamath Poker run at the end of July - what are you running??

I saw your post on the eagle page, that's too bad about your motor. Unfortunately I won't be able to make the poker run. I run the Yuba all year, even when it gets down to 500cfs, you just gotta know where to run. I'm not as experienced with the Feather but I'd be glad to show you what I know. I'm running a 15' Eagle Spint Hull (marketed/sold by jetcraft but its an Eagle hull) with a TBI 350, dry rewarders, Legend bowl, Chyrnick (sp?) race nozzle and an aluminum B impeller. At the Marysville race I was getting 65-66 up river and about 72 and change down. I got 3rd or 4th place, but that didn't matter, I couldn't wipe the grin off my face for a week. Drop me a line and we'll get together for a Yuba trip sometime Early August. There is a world class white water race boat tuner in Marysville by thew name of Phillip Taylor, Jetstream Concepts, get a hold of him if you want to race or just for good info. He's the navigator/pit crew for the 276 boat that was radared at 116 mph coming down the Yuba river-Aluminum Squirt

21footeagle, your boat is bad ass. I love those eagles, A.S. I just moved up to yuba city from the bay area. was your boat for sale at the boat show on the race weeked at marysville. I talked with bill simmons that weekend and he said somthing about building a spint boat track behind the motocross track at marysville. did you here about this. any time you need a co-piolt im down for it :D

hey 21footeagle... those 502 crate motors are notorious for useing alot of oil till the rings seat. although yours seems a little excesive, id ask around a bit before you decide to pull it. it may actually be woking right. what type of oil did you start with? DO NOT break it in with synthetic. that oil is even thinner and very resistant to wear, you will get that kind of oil burning. use a good regular oil and let it break in for a while. sometimes takes 5000 miles on asphault. thats alot of hours.
nice ride too by the way. too expensive for my wallet, but id dig to get one of those aluminium hulls. have fun with it man.

Sanger Mike - Its not the same boat but is is for sale - 25K makes it go away with the 454HO (not motor in the picture) add $6k for a new 520 EFI BBC with reciepts and dyno results

I would think that the rings would be seated by now.
How is the water up there at the delta? What kind of temps? Depths? etc

21footeagle-check your PM's. SM, negative, my boat will never be for sale unless I win the lottery and I can have a 19 or 21 fully race prepped. I'd love it if they put in a sprint boat track, that would be all kinds of new ways to destroy my boat-Aluminum Squirt
