I went a whole season without the safety gear, but now I never go out without it. I also picked up a set of ballistic shorts along with the jacket and helmet. Some people say the shorts are just as important as the jacket, you can imagine what kind of damage water can do on the intestines at 100mph. Anyways I'm glad you guys got the gear and the boats look sweet, can't wait to see them run in person one day.

Doin alright, but the boat is a little dry :( . Amie & I have been spending a lot of time planning the wedding & stuff. That, mixed with saving vacation time for the honeymoon = not a lot of river trips this year. I was out for memorial & my next trip is the 4th. (Got to take advantage of those 3 dayers wink ).
I bet it feels really good to drive that boat after all that work you've put into it. From the pics it looks like you & Todd did a really nice job. I guess I'll have to split my time drooling over your boat and Clutchboys this year @ CBBB.
