Has anyone else switched to a legend impellor or any other brand and picked up 500 or so rpm, but no more MPH? Boat is a 21' ultra, 500+ hp, blueprinted hull, fresh pump with tight clearances, droop snoot, place diverter, scoop, etc. I don't think this is right.

No Legend here...but I did switch to an Aggressor several years ago...and pleased with the results...more MPH with less RPM's.

I have had that problem with Legend impellers. But not quite that drastic.

Is your new impeller a smaller cut than the one that you removed?
I think your clearances are not tight enough cry . Who did the work? Those impellers are pretty well detailed right out of the box.

I WENT FROM AGGRESSOR TO LEGEND AND RAN SAME MPH AT 800 LESS RPMS.PLUS IT LEAVES MUCH BETTER.

Obviously every boat/set-up will be different, my comparison was going from a (A) Berk to an (A) Aggressor.
I also just rebult my friends 12JG-A(Sanger Super Jet)with an (A) Aggressor...much stronger hole shot and midrange pull, about 5-7 mph gain top end, motor turning less RPM'S... Real nice little boat!
I would like to compare a Legend-A to my Aggressor-A in my 21 Daytona....If anyone want to send me one for the Day
