Well guys I just finished the rebuild of my new bolck. I had the machinist align hone w/ arp main bolts, thermo clean block, hone cylinders, mag-resize w/ arp bolts in the rods, clean pistons, cam bearings, plosh crank w/ chamfered oiling holes and balance everything. I went through and guaged every single journal in the block(it took several hours). I have .002 oil clearance on every rod and .0025 on every main. I spend all day yesterday assembling the engine by myself. I double checked every bolt just to make sure and she spins like a loose sl*t! I will be putting her in the boat tomorrow and if I'm done early I will he heading to the lake wink Oh and yes I will baby her for the first 15 hours. There will be some long days on the water this week. I want a strong break in before I head up to OP6. I will post pics when I am done.

Good luck. Warm it up and dump oil after 30 minutes. Then drive it like you stole it. Babying it won't do nothing but save you some money in gas.
