cool jet boat video

This is Mike's(mike's pump and speed) son's jet boat. It has a normally aspirated big block chevy making 1000hp w/o nitrous and 1500hp with nitrous. Basically a prostock engine. Anyhow will run 122mph without nitrous. The boat is called tunnel vision. turn up the sound on this one. The video quality isn't that good but still cool

What kind of hull is that? The picture is hard to tell but it looks somewhat similar to my Crusader Tunnel V?

Mike has done pump work for me. He's a nice guy. I go there everytime i go to Houston. He has had that boat for sale for a couple of years. I saw that boat run in Marble Falls last summer. Its fast. Your need to come to our jet boat bash for memorial day. What part of Houston do you live in?

I live in northwest Houston between Jersey Village and Tomball. I haven't talk to Mike in a while. Do you know how his son is doing? Last I heard he was still paralized from his motorcycle wreck. If memory serves me right that's why they are selling it. And yes it is very fast and the engine is very good. If I had the dough I would buy it. Of course then I would be single and homeless. Mamma thinks my boat is too fast now. She wants a pontoon boat. Next she'll want me to buy a minivan. Oh god!!! Next time you're in Houston drop me a line and maybe we can hook up. We just went to Lake Sommerville last weekend. Weather was great.

Nice placecraft. They run fast. I would think he would run a little faster then that with that kind of hp? I know of a few of them runnin up in those speeds or faster.

that is 122 without the nitrous. add another 500 ponies and God only knows what it will do. Trust me it's fast.

where is this boat bash gonna be and when? Texasjet is down here too. Jet boats are few and far between from what I have seen the past few years it would be great to hook up with some.

Oh I believe you. I have seen them run 130. It looks like that boat was layed up when Tom Owned placecraft. Looks similar to his boat. His runs a blown injected alcohol motor though and is not center steering (Set up as river boat). There are 2 blown deals at blythe.

We are going to have it here in Louisiana about 20 miles west of Lafayette. Its between Lafayette and Baton Rouge. There is a huge bayou bash that weekend every year. Lots of boats and bands at the boat landings on the levee. Its a good time. Im getting a bunch of jet boats together to go Sat. and Sunday. We are camping at a nearby campground.
My in-laws live near you. They live about 1 mile from Willowbrook Mall and my brother in law lives in Tomball around the corner from Tomball High School. I will for sure drop a line next time. We were there for 3 days for easter and I sat on my ass all three days.

I wouldn't classify that as a normal jet. it has had alot of work done to it. Basically a one seater rocket ship. It would be fun to have but you couldn't carry any babes.. frown

I'm not spinning a berk either. But I highly doubt that a panther or jacuzzi could be built to handle 1500 hp. It would tear that pussy cat up.
