I need a set of headers again!!!!

The ones I just got blew holes out the bottom:( I am looking for a set that I can atleast get 1 season out of. I hope thats not asking for much;) I need them to not have that much rust on them. I would prefer twisted but straing will work just as well. Let me know if anybody has some. Thanks Michael

yes they are suppose to have small holes on the bottom of the header for water drainage i dont remember the size maybe 1/8-3/16th of an inch

yes both of you guys are right;) but they arent supposed to blow pieces of header out of the bottom burningm I mean they have huge holes holes in them.In other words the headers are trashed:(

I had the same prob with my old headers. I had a shop braze them up and they lasted 2 more seasons.. If all else fails you could go that route. For me it was just gonna be a temp fix but it ened up lasting that long. Hope this helps ya out

Thought you could weld? :cool: First of all ROB :D How have ya been? I havent heard from you in a while. The headers I got from you are completely trashed :D I killed them even worse than they were. I traded someone on here for a set of ford headers for another set of olds headers and they looked great untill the bottom of the pipes blew 1 inch diameter holes out. So now I am searching for a nice set. I am about 90% done with this boat and then I will take 4 weeks off to rest then I will finish the hull I bought from you. You know the one with the BBC chevy :D shoot me an email bro!

Micheal, since you've gone through this 455 the right way, as long as you don't sell it off anytime soon, I'll give you my old headers if you cover the shipping. I know it won't be cheap from PA, but you might make out. There aren't any major holes, but more like cracks. A little work should get you a couple of seasons. They are watered so if you're up for it, call me. My # is PM'd to you. Later bro.

I've got a really nice set of chrome Gill Over transom Headers for BBC they have all water injection, T valve even mufflers the chrome is good little Blue not cracked or burnt up.300.00 :D :D :cool:
