I am very curious my bell housing is a Berk Pack a Jet. I am wondering if my panther jet insert mold is the same as a Berk JE pump. Any pics would be appreciated.

Neo, I can tell you that the JG pump is NOT an insert style. You would be thinking of the JF and JE, and from what I've read in the past, I'm pretty sure they use a different shaped mold than Panther. Most likely reason for your bellhousing being a Berkeley Pack-a-jet housing would be that Panther must have used the same size front bearing housing as Berkeley. If not they would have had to cast up their own bellhousings.

Moomawnster, I see you put a JG bowl on that JE
pump. Do you like it. My JE is getting a JG bowl
at Pro-Boat service now. Seen the old JE bowl on
the table.
