i need seat mounts for my rogers jet.

the originals have rusted into nothing. where do i buy replacements? they were flat pieces of steel with a 90 degrees bend and then bolted to the stringer.

you can buy pieces of angle and just duplicate what you had before. only this time use aluminum so you dont have the rust issues.

it wasn't angle. the top part that the seat bolted to was about 18" x 12" flat steel. it then bent 90 degrees and extended another 3" down to the stringer. if i had access to metal working equipment i would build my own, but i don't so i would like to buy new or used ones.

some pics would help. you may be able to use some aluminum angle ( maybe something like 1/4 thick x 4 x 4) if your seats are sitting on top of the stringers even though it was not like this before this a very popular way to mount seats and you can probably accomplish it with a hack saw or band saw and a file and a drill. good luck
