Hey guys I've got a couple of questions.First off I traded an old bronco for this jet boat and it's a Borum has a 460 with a berkley pump I can't find any info on Borum, and the other is the nose is filled completely with foam my brother said it was to counter balance the weight of the motor.Any help would be gratly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to this addicting hobby we all so love here.
The foam is most likely there to keep ya floating in the un-likely event your boat goes south on ya.
Don't know much about Borum, but I'm sure some of these old salts around here might. wink

if you can post the frist four digits of the hin ( like vin ) we can tell you if thats its real name i my slef have never heard of borum. maybe its some thing else in disquse.

Borum made kit boats for a while I think. A guy here where I work had a really nice little wood model with an outboard. I am not aware of the later years. Maybe they started doing glass later on. You'll find info on the net about it for sure.
Hell I just found this by doing a search. It was owned previously by the guy I work with...

Also I found several Borum jets for sell. All had 460's in them.
Do a search on this site. I found several threads.

To counter balance the weight of the motor NOW that is funny shit.It is funny to listen to some one tell you all about something they know nothing about.Post a pic of that Borum.I am sure some one can get you strighten up.Tell your brother thanks for the laugh.

Hey guys thanks for the response here's what I have on id plate max hp nothing,person 650,max wt1200. Borum Boats Inc. 1900 Wambolt st. Jacksonville ,Fla Model 2000 ser 0164. I'll have to get some pics up but it looks similar to a sleek craft once I get the title from my brother I'll have more info.
