Hi all, Im toying with a few ideas and figured a spare jet drive shaft would do the trick. I prefer a used unit so I dont have to pay too much for it. Any one got a spare unit they are willing to part with ? I dont care about its condition as long as the splines are good. Thanks
Brian

Brian,
Have you tried any of the pump rebuilders?
What are you inventing?

Hallet Dave, if it works out, I will tell you. Miller, how long is the piece you have, and why is it not full length? As for You, Nubbs, you are gay.

I will have to look, it is about half the shaft if I remember correctly. The bowl bearing surface was shot and the impeller nut was frozen on. The back part of the shaft was not serviceable but the impeller was. So we cut the shaft so we could remove it and cut the impeller nut off in the lathe and not damage the impeller. Anyway I will measure the shat tonight if you are interested.

I am a complete flake and forgot to measure it last night but it looks like you found a better source. I will measure it tonight anyway.
