looking for a battery hold down set up

trying to put my southwind back together and need to find a set up for a optima battery that mounts to the stringer. does any one know of a

I understand that you have a Southwind Tunnel. Would it be possible to take a closeup pic of the cav plate setup assembly? Maybe throw in a few all around pics as well.

dana marine has a nice billett battery tray.They have one that is made for an optima only. check it out.Rex sells them.

dont use optima's, they suck, use trojans, they are SWEET boat batteries, and very fairly priced.

hey PIPESCLEAN, thats my 79 SANGER SUPER JET. shes not the fastest hull but I gru up at the lake around the sanger bubbel decks and still love em.

PIPES!!! What up brotha ?? How are things going with you ? What system ?? wink That system is ok, I run interstates, I just have had 4 friends run Optima's and 3 of them were pretty unhappy with them, they were good at first because they were one of the only sealed batteries you coud buy and you could mount them however you wanted. But now people found out gel doesnt last as long and nobody mounts batteries upside down so any sealed battery will do. I have had good luck with interstate, delco and trojan batts.

Mike, That's nice. My first boat was a bubble. It looked exactly like that, but it wasn't a Sanger.

yeah man, boat is good, running well, hull is good, I need a new 4chnl amp, but that is no biggie. Site six sounds good, are you going to op6 ? I will be there armed to the teeth (with beer and other such party favors)so I hope to see you there. I'll be making several martinez/havasu/parker trips this summer, make up for all the time I didnt get to take my boat out last summer and cruise on everyone elses! :) Take care.
