no hull ID number no ID plate or anything on the boat ,, the title just says 1967 Jet Boat "wood" construction, wich it may be but theres fiberglass covering it ,, *Grins*
it's a 16 footer ,, from bow to stern less the pump ...
Thx.

I seem to remember a story about these 16's (may have been Oldrigger on Banderlog.com), Jolly Roger or Sidewinder was the original designer and this hull was also used as the later 16' Tahiti's (without the side design). I'll see if I can find that thread.

I found the link, I was completely off-base. The Tahiti came from a modified Glastron design, which may be the origins of your hull design, but I do recall Jolly Roger using that side detail.

Thanks alot for the links . some good information there .. so what I gather from it ,is that it could be one of 3 +/- different manufactures... *Grins*
I will continue looking for ID plates on it , but I am almost sure they are gone , the boat was Painted white when I bought it and it took me a couple of weeks to scrape down to this color scheme , who knows whats under this layer ,Im tired of scraping. :D I noticed while wiring the guages that the bow is wood layered in fiberglass with a full length wood brace running the center , I heard somewhere that Tahiti used the full length brace down the bow while some others didnt, who's to know if it's original ..
not thats knowing what make it is is that important , I could always say it's a
"Rogers Tahiti Winder"

Not sure if Rodgers and Sidewinder are connected but the reason I first said it looked like a sidewinder to me is because of the way the side is done. I had a 1972 sidewinder that had the same type side.
