Hey Jim not sure what year it is,,, we have heard late 50's and early to mid 60's...so I am not really sure what year maybe someone will be able to tell us off these numbers...Maybe can use it,,willing to trade or sale

the first 2 numbers in the serial number usually is the year, should be a 1961? Jim

My father installed one like that in his boat in 1963. Worked great in the family boat, took lots of us kids watershiing and riding around. We haven't used it in lots of years, but it served the family well. There is a Berleley brochure about it posted at

AJ You have a 1961 Berkeley Jet.... It would make a real good anchor!! Jim
