I think it snowed here maybe twice in 50 years. We don't hardly ever get hail. :notam:

It just snowed HERE in Alta Loma!
It was snowing at the top of Amethyst a few hours ago, and when I just went outside to get some wood...it snowed ALL OVER MY SWEATSHIRT!!!

How much you want, it hails here so hard some times it covers the yard a couple inches thick.

Ya, my back yard is a baseball diamond.
Never snows in Sacramento. Rearly anyways.
If I want snow I jump in my car and drive an hour up the Sierra.
There's plenty on snow there!

That's what us Sacramentains like. Were 1 1/2 hours from the ocean and 1 1/2 hours from snow skiing, camping in mountains etc.
Not to mention all the lakes up this way.
Gives ya lots of choices of things to do.

we are an hour away from the beach :D and one hour away from the mountains, but it's just Big Bear, not the Sierra's. My son and husband go hiking in the Sierra's each year with their scout troop. :D
