THE PUMP IS OUT AND THERE IS NO VISABLE WEAR ON WEAR RING OR IMPELLER. THE SHAFT HAD VERY LITTLE SLACK. SHOULD I JUST REPLACE THE GASKETS AND GO BACK TOGETHER? I HAD A VERY SMALL VIBRATION IN REVERSE AND FORWARD AT VERY LOW RPM. THE IMPELLER HAS ONE FIN THAT HAS A VERY SMALL BEND. MY FINALL QUEASTION IS, MY IMPELLER SHOWS TO BE AN (A) BUT MY MOTOR TUNS 5100 TO 5200 RPM. MY MOTOR IS A STOCK 330HP 454. IT RUNS VERY WELL BUT BY THE IMPELLER CHARTS IT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE A (B) CUT. I WELCOM ALL SUGESTIONS.

that bent impeller blade could be causing your vibrations.

Since you're gone to the trouble of pulling the pump apart, change out the thrust bearing and all seals at least. The small vibration can come from an impeller that is out of balance. If yours is bent, that could very likely be the cause. A machine shop can balance impellers.

CAN THE ALUMINUM IMPELLER BE REPAIRED OR SHOULD I JUST REPLACE IT? AND IF I REPLACE IT HOW DO I KNOW IF MY (A) HAS BEEN TURNED TO A (B)?

While you have it apart, check your u joints. I had one go bad once years ago and it caused all kinds of vibrations.
Just my .02 :D

Yeah check your U joints. A bent impellar can do that also. I would also do a good check on the flywheel and maybe even the balencer. Check to see if the ring slipped on the balencer. I would check these before just going out and buying a new impellar. Aluminumn impellars are not very expensive at all so if in fact it is bent I would just opt for a new one unless it is an easy fix from a machine shop.
