From http://www.ussba.org/
These boats are claiming 1000 horse power at 6500 RPM. They are capable of acceleration from 0-80 MPH in 3 seconds. To accomplish this at speeds of 70-90 MPH through the corners in the Super Boat class the driver/navigator are subjected to 6-7 g's. In a 90 degree corner they average 3-4 g's.

Thats not the kind of racing Jungle boy does,I think he's more into that white water river racing. Which looks about as thrilling as the sprint boats. :)

We run the white water marathons races. The little woman won't ride in the race boat now. She's a got hurt a few years back and only likes pleasure boating now. My navigator is the famous Kelly Deihl, computer programer at Eagle Racing. You're welcome to come though!! Kelly has been getting a little heavy over the winter!!

We have a grate so anything that gets in the pump can handle and just shoot out. You need this when you drive like me. An experienced white water racer (not me) usually does a pretty good job of keeping >4 inches of water under the boat. Just think of using sandbars to polish the hull, aluminum is a great thing-Aluminum Squirt
