I think it looks great! Did you do the prep work on it, or did the shop that chromed it. If you did it, could you elaborate some as to what all it entailed. If you don't mind.........I'd be interested to know how much it costs to have it done as well.

ALL I DID WAS DISASSEMBLE THE PUMP AND PLACE DIVERTER. THE PREP AND CHROME WORK WAS ALL DONE BY EAGLE CHROME PLATING IN JACKSONVILLE TX. I DID NOT GET A WARRANTY BUT I DID NOT EXPECT ONE. DAVID THE OWNER DOES ALL THE WORK HIMSELF. HE HAS DONE ALOT OF ATV CHROMING FOR ME THROUGH THE YEARS ON ALUMINUM AND IT ALL HELD UP GREAT. I HAD THE PUMP, ALL GAUGE BEZELS, ALL KNOBS, ALL SWITCH BEZELS, THE STEERING HUB, THE SWIM STEP BRACKETS, AND A FEW SCREWS AND BOLTS DONE FOR $500.00. HE SAID HE DID NOT KNOW IF HE EVER WANTED TO DO ANOTHER PUMP. ALL MY KNOBS AND BEZELS HAD THE 1989 GOLD PACK SO, I UPDATED EVERY THING TO CHROME. I WILL POST ANOTHER PICTURE WITH THE BEZELS AND THE NEW GAFFRIG GAUGES LATER IT LOOKS GREAT. (P.S.) ALL OF THE HOLES HAVE TO BE RETAPPED AFTER THE CHROME WORK. THE INSIDE OF THE PUMP WAS TAPED OFF AND LOOKS NORMAL.

OK, here goes - looks REALLY great - CONGRATULATIONS!!! BUT - unless I'm not seeing it properly, it looks to me like you have your pin bushings (in the nozzle flange) going the wrong way - isn't the flange of the bushing supposed to be on the INSIDE of the hole (can't back out that way?) The way it looks, the flanges are on the outside - could allow the bushing to come out, possibly damaging the pin bores? Just an observation - if I'm wrong, I apologize......again, CONGRATULATIONS - looks NICE! eek!

Good eye HotGMC. That top one is backwards!
I'm sure everything was just kind of put together real quick for the photo-op, since in the second picture it's in right! :D

actually, the bushings were backwards! 2 of us were working on the boat. the other guy is a mechanic but not a jet mechanic. i relized the bushing problem after complete assembly and had to remove the diverter to correct the problem. all is well now.

I AM ASSUMING YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE RIDE PLATE MOUNT. EARL MCCOY OF E.J. ENTERPRISES RIGGED THIS BOAT NEW IN 1989. HE IS THE ONE WHO INSTALLED IT THERE.

It looks like it bunts up against the transom adapter because his adapter is so long.
