Ok this is probably going to piss off the guys on the east coast, but Todd and I took his boat out to lake puddingstone on sunday to see how fast we could drive around in tiny circles. Just kidding. anyways, here are some cool pics of Todds boat and if anyone knows how to post video, i got some rad roost footage of todds boat.

and here is the nice police boat with the extremely courteous police officers who caught us running the headers dry. they let us off with some friendly advice about how our hair could catch on fire with the scoop pointed forward like that. hee hee. http://www.***boat.net/image_center/data/500/45policeboat-med.JPG

ya he is. he swiped the scoop off of my boat and a set of his headers that i had ceramic coated. we wanted to see how well the coating would hold up with no water running through the headers. we ran around for about an hour and the headers didnt even change colors. but the best part i think was that there were no water spots on the headers afterwards. pretty cool.

Jake- its a 18' Rogers Bonneville.
Mike- It cost 120 bucks to ceramic coat those rusty headers and so far, the coating is holding up really well. I thought we gave it a pretty good test by not running any water through them.

WOW, the authorities stopped you at puddingstone !?!?!?! that never happens !!!! That must be worse than putting cute white gloves on and doing traffic detail, having to patrol a (small)pond in san dimas!!! I have been stopped EVERY single time I go, everything from speeding, swimming, parking, stereo too loud, ski flag lessons and drinking, which was a good one, the guy sees me drinking a silver can of root beer while I am driving, cuts right in front of me and boards my boat telling me to drop my beverage, I put it up on the dash and asked him if he wanted a sip, he looks at it and said "no thanks, I thought that was a beer", get the **** off my boat Gomer Pile, your dirtying up the new carpet. But puddle stone sure is great for testing those new parts you buy from rex marine down the street :)

cyclone, how did you guys pass inspection w/o any mufflers on the pipes? Last time I went they said I must have some sort of baffle to quiet the noise. I only live a few miles away from puddle stone but ever since I saw the 3-eyed cat fish floating by the launch ramp, i am afraid to touch the water there. P.S. boat looks really good.

the girl at the entrance to the park asked if we had them and we said we did. she never looked to see if they were in the headers. The patrol boat noticed that we weren't running them but we were leaving when they stopped us so we never bothered to put them in.

I took my flat out about a month ago and all the chick(she had blue hair) wanted to see was 2 life jackets and a throw pillow. I also ran dry headers but had baffels with no problems. When i got home i had to washed all the brown crap off my boat. First trip in a new boat(new to me) and had to paddle in.The battery died.

Cyclone,
Great looking ride. Nice profile with the boat and truck. I just had my headers ceramic coated by jet hot coatings and they cost me $480.00 plus shipping charges that amounted to $120.00. If I had it to do over again and I guess I will I would have just bought new headers. They first gave me an estimate of $350.00 But when I called to inquire about delivery they told me that they could not get in touch with me because of the phone number being wrong.??? I wrote the number on both header wrappings. and left an envelope inside both packages with the correct number. Kept a xerox copy. Anyhow when I called them they said that the extra money was for stripping the chrome off of the headers???. I informed them of the crome starting to turn on the phone before I sent the headers. Previously I had headers ceramic coated by jet hot and the headers turned different shades of dull. Your headers look great in the pictures. If you have another dealer doing the coatings I would appreciate the name and Number. Love the steering wheel.
