holy shit, thats one ugly boat... nice lookin dash :p (i can hear it now, "rollin in my 9-8 hittin sixteen swithches") . i'm not sure if those seat backs are high enough... so the boat makes 800 blown horsepower, and he pumps all that through a set of cast logs idea ,he must use those new kryptonite manifold gaskets... and what the hell is up with that blower setup anyway??? i dont get it, whats with the hose runnin overboard,,, is there a belt even hooked up? yeah, i'd like to see a gps reading and some dyno sheets... i tell ya those east coast guys  whats the deal, they dont believe in polish back there

None taken on the east coast thing - you guys have all the trick stuff. The boat is nice - I think the switch panel is stock. The whipple setup.... I'd be scared to purchase that. Just to one off for me. Who knows it might run well.

like i said, i would DEFINETLY want a personal lake test with a GPS in hand, and i would want to see some signed verification of horsepower and internal parts... then i would offer him 3 grand for being dumb

I think I saw this same boat with a helicopter turbine in it but, it was prop driven.

That boat looks NOTHING like my Roger's Bonneville. Was Roger still making boats in 98?

Yeah thats a Rogers 20 foot minicruiser! first produced in 1979. I know I had the very first one with an outboard on it. That boat first left Rogers shop with a bone stock 4bolt 454. That set up and those never left Rogers shop that way. This hull has the very same bottom that the 19 footer has and usually makes for a great family ski boat. With my stock 200 Merc, running a 21 inch Merc stainless prop, I got a ticket at Lake Perris going 71 mph. In 1988 Dick Sherer Marine upgraded my engine to a 225 with Bridgeport heads and fuel injection abd the boat went 78 miles per hour. Roger made these boats heavy yet very fast. I'd tell him to keep his motor and offer him $4000.00 max.
