Registration for the 4th Annual Tablerock Roost is now in progress~
Please register or pre-register at:
http://www.laidbackboaters.com/id106.htm
All info is on this page, and there is a refund of pre-registration fees available until June 1, 2006
It would be a great Assist to those of us planning this event if everyone planning to attend would at least pre-register to aid us in planning our dinner for Saturday night, and the number of t-shirts/sizes to be ordered.
Thanks to all!

I checked into that a couple of years ago. Seems like you were limited to certain roadways ect. Colorado was another one with some weird rules.
I would call the CHP in Sacremento they should be able to tell you or send you a drivers handbook.
Come to think about it, I did a google search for the Calif. Drivers handbook.
Found it all online.
Be sure to check each state you will pass through, as each one is different.

I see people do it all the time on I10 and I8 I doubt it would be any different on I80.
I hear you just have to have the appropriate license. We probably will reciprocate if you have a similar one in Colorado.
This if from California drivers guidebook (http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/hdbk/pgs03thru06.htm#licenseclasses):
Commercial Class A
You may drive any legal combination of vehicles, including vehicles under Classes B and C.
You may tow:
* any single vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of more than 10,000 lbs.
* any trailer bus, with endorsement
* more than one vehicle, with endorsement
* any vehicle under Classes B (an additional endorsement may be required) or C
