As I am kind of new to the Board here I thought I would tell you all about my friends 1981 Spectra 21 that is for sale.
1981 21 foot Spectra Built 454 w/few hours on it, Berk jet recent rebuild, New interior and wood, jet-o-vator, Blue / White. Runs Perfect. $8500.00 OBO, Located in Conejo Valley area.
Just a favor for a great friend as he really needs to get rid of it. Its a great boat that he only runs at Lake powell for a week each year.
If you would like a picture of the boat, please e-mail me...

Your profile mentions that you're running a 377 in your Stealth. How do you like it? What kind of speeds are you getting out of it? Holeshot strong? Scorpion or not?

I am extremely happy with the MX6.2 I have in my boat. I run a true 65.8 MPH on GPS at Lake Nacimiento. THis is fast enough for my wife and I. I have a Bravo with 1.65 gears which helps me out with the higher RPM's. It is really a winning combo for Mercruiser. The motor runs strong all the way to top speed. I have really been surprised not to hear much about this motor on these boards. John at Ultra really was confident in selling me this package as I went from a big block to this stroked small block set up. I always run stronger / quicker than my friends 21 Hallet with a 454Mag. He is looking into a 23 ft Ultra with the same 6.2 package as me. They say it will run about 62 on GPS. I highly reccomend this motor!
My dad still runs circles around me in his Schiada V-drive with a blown rat motor. Oh well!

I did see your Spectra 20 on the trader web site. It looks great and you should have no problem selling it.

The boat pulls hard coming out of the hole. I have a 4 blade 22P and a 3 blabe 23. The four blade is outstanding out of the hole and not much worse with the three blade. When pulling my big booty out of the water for skiing it nearly rips my arms from their sockets!

Sorry... Chestah, The 1.65 gears are something Mercruiser recommends with this size of boat and motor package. With the 1.50 gears I lost about 300 RPMs.
