Nice!
Oh, and I would say that sucks about being done today and it's not...... But I'm still waiting on D&S to finish fixing my stripes that they did backwards from last year. I only gave them the seats the 1st of Feb.
Looks good, so what's next and how long until your on the water?

Oh, are we going to have a "Best Interior" catagory for the CBBB this year? I think we should.

Looks real good. That front seat looks hard to slide into though. Are the seats custome built?

Nice seats Tyson! I am looking to get a new interior this year and both your set-up and Randy's have inspired some of my new ideas.
What's up with D&S? I heard alot of negative comments about their work ethics...
Not to hi-jack this thread as they call it, but explain why D&S isn't stepping up to the plate on some of these issues...

one of the reasons i didnt go with them . plus they told me it would take atleast 5 weeks and that is too damn long ( that menas it will take atleast 7 lol)i know that they do good work but i ave heard some stories about them taking too long and, not fixing there probs right away. i could be wrong i just had a good deal and went with it. wink

My dealings with D&S have still been pretty good for one reason: PRICE vs Quality
The quality of my interior and install is some of the best I've seen, and I got a smoken deal!
First, let me point out there are (2) D&S Marine Interior shops. The main one is in Riverside, and the other one is in El Cajon next to Ultra Boats.
I took mine to the D&S next to Ultra Boats.
Before I took it down there, I got the basic price out of the way, but we didn't discuss anything else. When I got down there, Sal (who ownes/runs that shop) was about an hour late, but I didn't mind because I was still deciding on colors which took me 2 hours total. I talked to Sal about what I wanted exactly and then we set on a price.
What I got was New Wood and Interior, carpet from the transon to the bulkhead, and then carpet all the way up the front ski locker area. Pockets on the backs of my cocktail seats, and frenched stitching. $1790.00 is what I paid. He told me it will take 4-5 weeks. It took 5 weeks. Then next week, I was looking at my interior and I noticed the stripe pattern on one side was correct for the rear cocktail seats, but the other side was not. So, I called Sal and he said he will correct the problem, but it will have to wait another 5 weeks........ I was pissed, then he said or I can use the boat all summer and then bring the interior back to him during the Winter and he will also fix anything else that may be wrong by that time. So, I was cool with that. Well, I'm not pissed yet because I still need to get some power in my boat, but I don't want to be held up on the seats either. So, they should be done this weekend, and I plan on going and picking them up.
here is a photo, look at the strips on the rear cocktail seats and you will see what I mean. No one noticed it and it took me a week.

the wrong pattern is on the passanger side, the correct is the drivers side. From the front or top, it should go Blue, Grey, Charcoal.

My buddy took his placecraft to d&s also in el cajon.Said one week but took more. Also got a smokin deal, new everything for the seats plus some cool side panels that go by your feet even with drink holders.Took almost a month but the quality was excellent and he was very happy with the end result and the money saved.

Lookin good hack. I especially like the size of em. Mine are getting a little on the tight side for some strange reason. On a good note....it forces me to drop a few pounds each summer, just so's I can squeeze into em. It's my annual ass downsizing program.

Those look great! Is that a cooler in the back? If so how much does it hold and does it have a built in drain? And the comment about fitting in the seat, thats what holds me in. Or my ass, at least.

Tyson your 19 came out really nice. Why bother with a new boat when you can keep a classic that's recognizable wink .I'm just about finished with my new interior on the 24 spectra, and the only thing left is the hydraulic hatch to be made. BTW, are you going to have your bay open or closed?

mike , sounds like you have got some cool stuff going on .lets see.
and spectras only it will be a open bay due yto the fact that is a tunnle ram motor and a set of lighting headers. keep up the good work on the 24 and lets see some pics of it as well.
