That hull is a Sleekcraft mold and has a nice ride. It will be alittle under powered with a single.

Kachina makes one now that is almost identical to that also- actually called..you guessed it, "enforcer" However, they recently redid the deck to be completely fiberglass and it is called the "shadow" RADE X on the boards has one. If you decide to you really like these- check them out at kachinaboats.com Their gelcoat/paint is unbeliebable. Plus they advertise around $65K brand new with std 496 power. Just a thought!
Have a good one.

Maybe it's just me, but that Kachina price just seems too low for that size of boat. They look good on the web site, but does anyone know how the fit and finish is? About a year ago I almost had Conquest build me a 30', but I decided against it. They mostly build the deck boats, not many Enforcers from what they said. That Enforcer model wether from Sleekcraft, Conquest or Kachina, they have a timeless look to that hull, I really like them. I would love to hear more from Kachina owners to see how the quality and fit / finish has been.

I looked at a new one on the water in Havasu and it looked pretty good for the money. I talked to the owner and he said he had been around a long time in fact longer than most. He said SleekCraft had 3 different owners at least. On the Sleek Craft side I also think they are good boats for the money as long as you buy it allready built. The last year Sleek Craft has a couple of black eyes because of the customer service end. Good Luck

My parents used to have a 28Ft Sleekcraft Enforcer with 454 Mag/Carb & Bravo 1...The boat ran extremely smooth and planed very quickly...not the quickest boat, but ran between 53-54. It was good boat, and we never had issues with it..tracked well, turned great, pulled skiers, again road extremely smooth in Havasu chop.

Sleekcraft powerboats had the same owner from it's start(1967) untill 1994. Current owner bought company in 1994 and still operates the company today. 30' Enforcer is still made today and is better than ever. Check them out @ Power Marine CA.

Thats the GREAT thing... with KACHINA there is a very limited list of extras... THEY INCLUDE all extras in the boat except motor upgrades... and wind deflectors.... guess which one I went for?.. this was my first time out..
eek!
1)5600 divided by ratio(1.5?)=3733
2)3733 times 26=97058
3)97058 divided by 5280=18.38 divided by 12=1.53
4)1.53 times 60= 91.8 mph
That equals theoretical speed
10% slip(?)= 82.7mph
eek! :D eek!
not bad for first time out no adjustments done yet, NOT TOO $%^*EN BAD You guys ROCK :D
