What are the reasons you should not put fiberglass on treated wood.

What are the reasons you should not put fiberglass on treated wood. The wood is treated with water resistant chemicals which inhibit the woods natural tendencies to absorb water/fluids... Fiberglass resin being a fluid will not absorb very well, ie. lousy adhesion..

I did it to my floor over 10 years ago and have had no problems. New stringers floor resined down, three layers to bond it to the hull and one layer over everything. Didn't even paint it but the carpet covers it. Nothing has come loose so far. Good luck.
