Park Moabi Aug 19-21

Okay, heres the 411. I will be staying at Park Moabi, on one of the big beach sites, from Aug 19-21. We will have our trailer/boat combo out there. The site is big enough for a few RV's/Trailers, and we have a couple of spots left, for anyone that is interested in coming up with their boat and RV/Trailer. For those that havent been there, the beaches are top notch, the people that run it friendly, etc. It is located down from Needles, just up from the Topock Marina. Anyone interested, you are more than welcome to go. -DD Out

Glad I could help you out DD. It is one of my favorite places in all of Cali, but I haven't been there in years. Just go to the website from time to time to work up an appetite for it, then let myself down.

PF, I will totally be there. Since it is my normal days off, I cant get railed for OT here at work. I had already made the reservations for a beach site, and am fully planning on being there. As stated before, anyone is welcome to do a campout there, and Moabi is totally worth the trip. -DD Out

Couldn't agree more, DD. In fact, we were just up there last week and what a nice place. Like you said, nice sandy beaches and all. I especially liked the launch ramp, since they have concrete dividers between the lanes (keeps the novices at bay so you won't have to worry about them running into your trailer).
At any rate, wish I could go, but like I said, just spent a week up there. Maybe I'll catch you guys next time.

Hi DD, Do they have hookups for RVs there? Most important is electricity available?

From what I understand, there are full hookups (electric, water, etc.) and concrete slabs. Talked to the maintenance guy last time I was there, and they just dumped a whole bunch of $$$ into upgrading the beach sites. Maybe someone could pass the word to Black Meadow that they should do the same. What a dump. -DD Out

We'll be in Laughlin from Thursday night, 8-15, thru Monday morning, 8-19. We will be launching at Needles Marina Park on the way out of town Monday. Should be launching around 1 p.m. and making a run down to the Sandbar for a few hours before heading home around 6 or so.
