education time, where is cotton cove? :confused: North end of Lake Mohave. Very cool place. You can run up to Hoover Dam from there in about 30-40 minutes.

Is that over there by laughlin? launching from telephone cove or the marina? or am I way off? If its where I am thinking, thats a nice spot to hang out at.

Cottonwood Cove is on the Nevada side of the lake and has its own marina and campground. We'll be there for sure.

Thats it scuba, Cottonwood has limited rooms available and are pretty much always booked up sometimes a year in advance. you can also get rooms in search light. Im not sure how cottonwoods camping arrangments are but I know they have some spots.

Campsites are pretty good there. Decent. There's a small general store within walking distance of the campsites as well.
Cottonwood is about a good hour's drive from Laughlin too.

Donnie and I are taking his Daytona since my damn drives still broke. Never been to Mohave, so should be a fun weekend. We'll be riding with B-Rad502 Friday so we have enough av-gas to tear it up Saturday :D

We got reservations last week for Cottonwood for Mid May. You can ask to get on there wait list and they may or may not call you. We got three rooms. It works sometimes.

Are there any gas docks on the way up or back between Katherine's and Cotton Cove? I only have 8 Gallon tanks and that doesn't go very far. That's next winters project.

Katherines has fuel, Cottonwood has fuel, the coarse will run 42 miles round trip from Cottonwood back to Cottonwood at the end of the day.
No pre-registration, just show up. Many details posted on LVHB, $50 gets you a map of the lake and two envelopes with the #1 written on them. What you do with the map is up to you.... though if you read the map you might find an additional envelope in your hand at the end of the day.
Kids envelopes are free. We have enough maps to support 100 boats, enough envelopes to support 300 hands, enough river beads and uno envelopes to support 40 kids.
The final cove will be marked, you can not miss it unless you are blind.

Riverlife, yes the Carerra is still for sale.it is even sweeter in person. The boat has a really nice spread in the may 03 fam and perf boating mag. I have never seen another stereo system even close to this one, it makes some serious waves. Im not sure what hes asking for it but I know he is accepting all reasonable offers. We are shooting to get out to cottonwood in time for a sunset booze cruise on friday. Say Hello if ya see us out there
