Okay everyone, after almost 7 months, we finally got around to getting online! The event that started as a get together for classic glass is now an annual event with its own Website and everything! Does that mean that it will become a hoity toity event with champange and huge entry fees? HELL NO. What it means is you can now go to one place to get the latest information on the Classic Boat Beach Bash and register for this year's event.
Along with event info and online registration, you can also check out photos from last year, get directions to the event, check out our sponsors and even order Softlines mooring, anchor and bumper lines at direct prices.
We welcome you to come by, check out the site and hopefully register for the event. If you ask anyone who attended last year, I'm sure you'll find that they all have great stories and experiences to share. While the event is centered around classic boats typically under 21', we welcome anyone who wishes to hang out and enjoy a great weekend with other Colorado River boaters.
If you have any questions, or want to find out how to become an event sponsor, please feel free to email us at cbbbadmin@classicboatbeachbash.com
Hope to see you at the Avi in August!

We have registered and paid for our room so we are ready to go. Now to just sell the boat I have now and buy a Spectra before then. If anyone is interested I have a 1981 Apache Jetboat with an AMC 360 and a Panther pump for sale. I just went through it. New guages and Carpet. Has a nice stereo with a 12 disc changer. I will post pics soon!!! asking 5500.00 for anyone on the boards 4500.00.

My Domestic Engineer said that our schedule can accomodate another river trip!!! So we can go.... I think we be registered. My boat isn't a classic yet, but I'll come and be proud of yours'.... :D :D
The Avi is great place for this. Good security, great beach, cove is out of the current, fireworks, cigars, multiple bars, the casino is looser than the Bluewater....pool, jacuzzi (HOT!), 31 Flavors, Subways, and expensive golf. Plenty of room for a morning run or walk.
The Indians don't put up with too much rowdiness, so the real crazies are kept in check. At least until August 9/10, I guess. wink
Last time I went we weren't allowed to park our boat on the North side anymore, :( so you may want to reserve your room on the South end, nearer the launch ramp.

Hey Hack job,
As my in-laws have a place right across the river from AVI, we'll be staying with them instead of AVI, so can we (my wife and two kids) still caravan with everyone on the way up and hang out with you guys?
Sounds like a great get-together and a chance to meet other folks that love boatin' and the RIVER.

It's great to put something together, isn't it? The Tower Park Run is the same way here in No CA.
Speaking of putting something together, how about we talk about a combined outing somewhere midway between So and No CA?
The LBBA/CBBB or CBBB/LBBA Convention....130-140 classics all in one place. I don't know about your visual, but mine looks awesome.

I WOULD have stayed at the Avi Resort, but since I am coming up from Moabi on Friday, I figured that we may as well just use the trailer. Also, I am always so paranoid about someone f**king with the boat when I am asleep in a hotel, that I never get any sleep anyways. Maybe I should just start catching Zzzzz's in the boat!!! I had better give the Avi a call, and let them know that Dick Danger is going to have to demand that we be given 1/2 of the beach. Do ya think that they will tell me to "pound sand?" LMAO...-DD Out

Last year I'm sure a lot of us were concerned about security but I believe there were no issues and there was lots of serious equipment in the parking lot. I'm just as paranoid about my ride, but things went well.
