View Full Version : CBBB Beach Space Issue

I read of the beach space problem on the CBBB message boards and am willing to get up early at CBBB and help launch boats so we can get everyone in place early if others are willing to do the same. I was planning to drop in early anyways so once I have my boat in the water others can depend on me for trailer duties should any of you have skiddish wives or girlfirends in regards to parking the truck/trailer. It's all about priorities-beach space or sleep-you choose?

It pays to get down there early. There is no way there will be enough room for all boats though, even if we take up the whole beach. We will be two or three deep.
Bring your anchors!! CBBB board threads have suggested a cove a mile or two upriver where we can congregate....

Yeah, those classic DCB's take up quite a bit of room... :D

It's my favorite spot for photo shoots, so if anyone is interested, I'll set it up. I always launch early, so we should be able to beat the locals there!

Rad! Roostwear is that cove up towards the other casinos sort of tucked in the corner where you can just float.

dont start flame thread out of this . no drama. Who's creating the drama? I merely made an observation based on the arrival list of the "Classic" boats and couldn't help but notice that the first couple listed aren't what I would consider classic. It was a ****ing joke. That is why there was a smile after it. Perhaps you need to lighten up and stop bringing all the drama. This isn't the first board you've brought it to either. If I had anything at all to say to anyone I'd say it directly, and in a private forum. Don't worry, I'm not picking on your boyfriend, regardless of how little I think of him.

I'm glad People are willing to help,I might be one of the one's asking when it come's time to pull it out.It can get pretty ruff at the launch ramp when it come's time to pull out and the wife has a hard time backing in.

I am down for gettin' there early. The only problem I remember from last year was that the water was a bit low - luckily I had reverse as i had to "drive" my boat off of the trailer.
7-8 AM will be tooooo late to reserve some spots...I thought the Avi was going to grant us official space?
While this is the Classic Boat Beach Bash, we are not haters and welcome all boats to come join in a good time! We do not discriminate. If you think it is a f'ing joke, you are more than welcomed to not attend.

For those that will no be paying to launch at the AVI, just a warning that the AVI security may ask you to get get your boat off the beach, so you may want to bring an anchor as we will be 2 -3 deep easily anyway.
How do they know? they gaves tags/bands to put on our steering wheels.
