Catalina Ski Racer ......Ken Schmidt Thank you

Catalina Ski Racer Ken and his wife/boat driver Velma needed a spoter.
I was at the boat docks at B&W at the Sacramento Delta on Sunday morning checking out the boats launching and they asked me if I would help out and spot. Ken keeps in shape by skiing. He's 65 years old and kicks ass.
They used a fast 29ft Profile boat to pull with. He skied for 1 hour the slowest was 45mph and the fastest was 65mph. He used a 150ft. rope. My hats off to you both. What a great team. Info in ski racing www.skirace.net (http://www.skirace.net) He has won many events over the past few years.

I've seen Ken ski in Havasu. He skis that racing ski like a slalom ski. Unbelievable how long and good he can ski at his age and his wife is a great driver as well. I can only wish to be breathing let alone skiing when I'm that age. :D
