broke it in and the boat ran great. no leaks of water, no oil leaks, nothing. the motor performed very well. very smooth for you guys who were asking. we wnt to elsinor by the way. well here it goes. we will need to cut down the impeller down, depending on whats in it now. i'm not sure. but the boat ran 70mph at 5100 rpm's. we cruised about 36mph @ 3300 rpm's. the engine temp was still at 120 deg. a lil warmer would be good. we need to put a vavle on th eoutgoing to slow circleation down just a tap. the pump seems to be in very goos shape but the mototr is capable of another 900 Rpm's. after all tunning we should be in the high 70's to low 80's. well see. other than that the motor sounded great and i can't complain for a free boat. i really want to thank bruce for helping me fine tune the motor today. sorry i dont have pics, my sister had the camera and left me with nothing.
thanx

Way to go Eric, Bruce sounds like you did a good job on the motor. Look forward to seeing it in person. wink
