how do you and doghouse make it out in the middle of the week?
Thats easy. I make sure to leave work by 5pm (which is 101 and I-17). Go over and meet my buddy at his home at 39th and pinnacle peak, and then take off to the lake. Since my bro works for Pleasant at the dry storage pulling boats in and out with the tractors, we store our boat up there. If I give him advance notice, he puts the boat in the water. If he's aleady gone, then the boat is in the econo lot (up top) and I hook it up and put it in the water. Then, its all fun from there...wakeboard, meet up with friends (doghouse) and eat dinner, enjoy the sunset and relaxing and then head home. I usually get home around 11pm. And since I work 5 days a week, 11pm is bed time.

91, sounds like you live right near my inlaws. They're on Wescott just east of 43rd. I see a lot of boats parked in the farm/ranch style neighborhood there with all the acre lots. In fact there's a Magic deckboat just down the street with the same colors as my cat, could be brothers!

Saw it a couple weeks ago, bad ass boat. So now, lets get this straight...you are mini me, the 44 is just plain huge, and there is now a close twin sibling. These Magic people sure do focus on family :D

Anybody ever go to roosevelt. I haven't been this year but it always has the best skiing or wakeboarding water. Just hope there is water in it!

I'm going to Apache Lake for a couple of days... Roosevelt is up some from last year. I dont bother, I just go to Apache or Canyon. They are dammed on both ends and stay consistant all summer on water levels. Fewer people have been going to Apache this year, so i think a lot of people are staying at Roosevelt again with the water level a bit higher.

roln20 & doghouse--
so how was it last evening? It was awesome. My buddies and I got a couple good wakeboard runs in, then went over to Humbug trying to find Doghouse. There was no one there and the lake was super smooth. No luck, so we just started to eat some dinner, and sure enough, turning toward Humbug from the river was this sick 28 Magic. Doghouse had arrived. We talked for a little, we got to hang out with his family, and then got to go for a little test run. Did I say little, I meant a little over 90! He thinks the boat is running a little rich and may need to make a few adjustments with that, but it runs and runs hard so I can't speak for Doghouse, but I think he is pretty happy. Wish you could have made it out. We'll have to plan it a little more in advance next time so maybe you guys can make it out.

Yeah, not a bad way to end a "work day", not bad at all. Amy met me out there with the kids and a bag full of Boston Market chicken dinner. We headed up to the cliffs by the no wake zone, swam, and then had supper. It was getting late when we found Roln & crew, but there was time for one last blast before dark. Driving back to the 10 lane in the dark was fun but made me a little nervous when I got near the area with the submerged island and the little stick bouys that you can't really see in the dark! I just stuck to the main channel areas and we got through fine.

I'm going to Apache Lake for a couple of days... We'll be there this weekend as well, most likely camped somewhere between BC and the marina. We will have a white Cheetah tunnel with green flames and the Magic with the purple/orange. Swing by and say hello if you like! You bringing the race hydro in the profile pic or do you also have a lake boat?

16th Street & Glendale ... Here. Might come up Sunday afternoon to introduce the "Children", Missi & Mikki Mo, to the lake and just get out for awhile. Won't be bringing the boat as 3 gal. gas tank, single seat and low freeboard are not suited to Pleasant. Will probably drive the snakes tow truck if we come: Flag us down if you see us.

Trying to decide between a late night assault or wait 'till morning. Wandering around the lake in the dark is always fun!
