With all this rain we just got this past weekend, how much did the lake level come up? Just curious. Thanks.

I was out there Friday and the lake is definitely up. It apeared to be up at least 3-4' to me.

It is definitely up. But, the public ramp on the east side is still closed. I believe the water level needs to reach 1242 for it to be operational.
Needs to come up 10+ feet to be at the level it was after the last El Nino.

was there tuesday and launched at the Resort by Jack in the box. If/when the water level is up another 10 feet or so, will this ramp be un-operationable? its almost under water now.

Yup - LERA shuts down when the water level is high. They built that ramp many years ago when the lake was consistently low.

1240' is our ideal minimum. It has been very low lately. Last year at this time we were at about 1238' even and evaporated down to just above 1233'. If we get no more rain this season, we will have a basic repeat of last year...which wasn't all that bad until it got real low around labor day. Hope that helps. I have no idea about Lake Mead, other than that it has a lot more water than Elsinore wink
